Dahlgren, Virginia Location Coming Soon
DAHLGREN, Va., May 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Roger Wright began his journey with Dickey's Barbecue Pit a year ago, investing in his first location with his cousin, James Wright in Alexandria, Virginia. With such success in this first location, he is now finalizing the details of his own location in Dahlgren, Virginia. This first-time business owner was inspired to join Dickey's after having his first taste of the Texas-style barbecue.
"Two years ago I ate at Dickey's for the first time, and I was sold immediately," said Wright. "One of my favorite things about being a part of Dickey's is making customers happy by serving them delicious, slow-smoked barbecue."
Roger Wright's location in Dahlgren is on track to open by summer 2017. In the meantime, Virginians can get their pit-smoked barbecue fix at the Alexandria or Southpoint locations, both owned by his cousin, James Wright; or find their nearest Dickey's Barbecue Pit location here.
"The Dickey's family has enjoyed our relationship with Roger, first as an investor and now as an Owner," said Laura Rea Dickey, CEO of Dickey's Barbecue Pit. "We congratulate Roger on the upcoming opening of his own location and look forward to bringing more barbecue to Virginians."
