Wyoming is home to many natural attractions including Yellowstone National Park – which was the first official National Park in 1872, Devil's Tower, Grand Teton National Park, and the Shoshone National Forest.
Wyoming has earned its reputation as the “equality state.” Wyoming was the first U.S. state to allow women to vote–an achievement that represented one of the early victories of the American women’s suffrage movement. Wyoming also had the United States’ first female governor, Nellie Tayloe Ross, from 1925 to 1927.
Although it is the 10th largest state by area, Wyoming has the smallest population of all the states, with just over 550,000 residents.
Wyoming was ranked the Best State for Business in 2013 by Tax Foundation Best States for Business Climate.
